Enviro-Corp Recycling

Enviro-Corp Recycling 100% Canadian owned and run business and a Division of United Concrete & Gravel LTD.  United Concrete & Gravel Ltd serves the whole Cariboo area of British Columbia. Dave and Paul Zacharias founded Ever-Redi Concrete Products Ltd in Quesnel in 1977 with two ready-mix trucks, one loader, and a simple batch plant. Today, United Concrete & Gravel Ltd (as it was renamed in the 1990s) employs more than 75 people and has three facilities in Quesnel, Williams Lake, and 100 Mile House. It provides ready-mix concrete, gravel, topsoil, and blocks to all areas of the Cariboo, from Anahim Lake to Nazco to the Interlake’s. United Concrete is still privately owned today by Dave and Paul.

In 2008, they recognized a need in the glass recycling market. There was no glass processor capable of turning recycled glass into furnace ready cullet, which is used to create new glass bottles. With determination, a new location, and 30 days to set up a plant capable of processing glass, Enviro-Corp Recycling was formed.

Enviro-Corp Recycling takes post-consumer glass (list of what we accept here) color separates, crushes, screens, and remove impurities to produce a clean glass, ready to be melted and made into new bottles. The Enviro-Corp Recycling plant is located in Abbotsford, BC and processes approximately 60,000 tons of recycled glass per year.

Enviro-Corp Recycling also produces it’s own line of products in Quesnel BC. You can find a list of products made from Canadian recycled glass here.
